Cosmetic Dentistry

Best Cosmetic Dentistry Treatment provider in Kirkland, WA area

We know a great smile when we see one. And attractive smiles -- those with evenly spaced teeth, free of dark discoloration, chips, and other imperfections -- are highly valued in most societies. In fact, researchers have found that others remember a winsome smile more than great skin or luxurious hair. Make a great, lasting impression with cosmetic dentistry services at Kingsgate Dental Clinic in Kirkland, WA.

Whiter teeth

After discussing your goals with you and evaluating the health of your teeth and gums, Dr. Ann Kelley may determine you are a great candidate for teeth whitening. Professional-grade bleaching gels may be all that you need to dramatically improve the appearance of your smile and overall facial appearance. You will look healthier and rejuvenated.

Professional whitening is simple; trays or oral appliances are created from impressions or molds of your mouth. So, when placed in your mouth, they will fit the contours of your teeth and gums precisely and comfortably. There will be no irritation like with off-the-shelf whitening trays that are designed to “fit all mouths.” We will show you how to insert the bleaching gel into the trays. This powerful peroxide-based gel is delivered evenly to the teeth. When worn daily as directed by Dr. Kelley, your teeth will gradually appear whiter. Most patients get the results that they want within about a week. This approach is convenient, and you can whiten from the comfort of your couch. It minimizes the risks associated with in-office treatments or OTC products (such as tooth sensitivity and gum irritation).

Metal-free fillings

Dr. Kelley uses fillings that are made from composite resin. This material is durable, non-toxic, and cosmetically appealing. Unlike silver-colored fillings made from a mix of metals, including mercury, these non-metal fillings retain their beauty. They do not oxidize and darken over time. They also preserve the health of the surrounding tissues. In a conservative procedure, minimal natural tooth structure must be removed to prepare the tooth for a composite filling. After the tooth is prepared, the material is applied in layers and eventually bonded to the underlying tooth. We can perfectly color-match the material to the surrounding tooth. So, it blends in beautifully with the rest of your smile.

Stunning crowns

Crowns are a common restorative dental treatment. However, they may also be used to cover up very discolored teeth or to restore an irregularly shaped and oddly sized or otherwise worn-down tooth to its most attractive appearance. Dental crowns have the added benefit of providing protection and strength for lasting functionality and oral health. Our crowns are made from dental ceramics, such as porcelain. They are shaped to fit over prepared natural tooth structure.
